Airport : The Artesia Municipal Airport (ATS) is a public-use general aviation airport located 4 miles west of the Main Street business district of Artesia. The Artesia Municipal Airport hosts two active runways, the longest of which is 6,301 feet. The terminal offers a number of services for pilots. Short-term small aircraft storage is often available (please call for details). Avgas and jet fuel (single-point capability) are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Attractions : The Artesia Historical Museum and Art Center offers a variety of art and historical exhibits, with local artists contributing to many of these exhibits. Artesia is located within easy driving distance to many scenic and natural recreational tourist attractions that contribute to New Mexico's title, the "Land of Enchantment."
